Synergy CIM Process

 

SYNERGY offers a comprehensive process to ensure a successful installation every time. Our process is guided by the Certified Installation Manager (CIM) program established by the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA), a program that helps to promote the highest standard of commercial flooring project management through the credentialing of commercial flooring professionals.

 

I. Project Evaluation and Survey

An important first step in the process is to gather information and to evaluate findings. Job site surveying allows our team to verify and update measurements with what is shown on the floor plan, identify any problem areas and challenging conditions, and confirm the final scope of work for the installation.


II. Recommended Products and Innovative solutions

III. Estimation of Materials and services

Using the latest in estimating software and technology, SYNERGY provides a detailed estimate on materials and services for your project. We conduct a full review of your project for accuracy and thoroughness prior to the ordering and delivery of floor materials. Our comprehensive estimate early in the process will help ensure your project’s successful completion.


IV. project scheduling and logistics

SYNERGY will identify elements that could impact the overall project schedule and will coordinate timelines and deliveries with other trades on site to keep the process running smoothly. Our Certified Installation Managers (CIM) navigate through these variables to create an optimal installation schedule for the customer. If an unforeseen change should ever occur, SYNERGY has the flexibility to adjust the schedule and improve execution as needed. With a national network of experienced installers, our team is able to manage an array of projects and locations across the country.


V. Certified Project Management

As an active member of the FCICA, all flooring projects are professionally managed by a CIM. Each project manager has actively participated and earned certification in all aspects of a commercial flooring installation project. SYNERGY CIM’s will always stay up-to-date in the latest new developments in commercial flooring installation through the required FCICA certification process.

We use highly skilled installation teams to consistently deliver quality work in an efficient and timely manner.  Our integrity drives us to take all the proper steps so our installation teams will perform the job correctly, safely, and with the customer's best interest in mind. 


VII. ongoing customer communication

SYNERGY delivers quality customer service by communicating with our customers throughout the entire project. Prior to the installation, our team contacts each customer to review the scope of work, confirm the installation schedule and ensure that all materials are delivered to the project site. We take appropriate measures to guarantee the quality of our work and exceed our customer’s expectations.


VIII. detailed documentation and closeout

Throughout the process SYNERGY will keep customers updated and well informed of our progress. Our CIMs work closely with the installation team onsite to document and track the completion of each job and deliver that report directly to you. In the end, we don't leave until the customer is satisfied! 


iX. accurate and timely billing

All billing is carefully reviewed with project managers for accuracy, and submitted to customers quickly after project completion. Any changes to the scope of work are reviewed and have been approved in writing by our customers prior to invoicing.
